Members of FAIRmat are organizing / participating in "Hands-On DFT and Beyond: High-throughput screening and big-data analytics, towards exascale computational materials science". This workshop is taking place from 26 August to 6 September, see https://th.fhi-berlin.mpg.de/meetings/dft2019/.
On July 15-16 2019, around 55 scientists from different research areas and all over Germany were actively participating in the FAIRmat Meeting in Berlin-Adlershof. The focus was on questions around the NFDI proposal. Following the successful submission of the Letter of Intent in July 2019, FAIRmat is currently preparing for a successful submission of the NFDI proposal on October 15, 2019.
Unlocking the Fourth Paradigm of Materials Research: Several positions are available in Big-Data-driven Computational Materials Science for Master Students, PhD Students, and Postdocs in Berlin at FAIR-DI e.V. and the NOMAD CoE
On March 29, around 45 people from different research areas and all over Germany were actively contributing to the FAIRmat coordination meeting in Berlin. After submission of the Extended Abstract, FAIRmat will be presented at the NFDI Conference in Bonn, organized by the DFG.
