Supporting institutions and joint research projects

FAIRmat has already numerous supporters, and the number is growing steadily. This map of Germany illustrates our supporters and their locations in Germany. Listed are the institutions of active participants, as well as the 31 institutions and 18 joint research projects, which have confirmed their support or cooparation through a statement of their director or president. A detailed list of these supporting institutions and joint research projects can also be found below.

Looking at the map of the scientific landscape in Germany, it becomes clear that FAIRmat is strongly networked throughout Germany - with all federal states being  represented.

In addition to support from Germany, FAIRmat has active participants from Switzerland (ETH Zurich, University of Zurich), Belgium (European Commission Joint Research Centre), Austria (Montanuniversität Leoben, TU Wien), Korea (Postech), Great Britain (Science and Technology Council) and Russia (Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, Moscow).

Colleagues are invited to contribute their expertise and actively shape the necessary data infrastructures. If you would like to become part of FAIRmat, please register here.
